GAIAFESTIVAL is an International Dance Festival taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from January 27th to February 1st, 2027.

GAIAFESTIVAL aims to create high-quality content and exceptional conditions for dancers from all over the world.
The festival consists of:
Dance events open to all ages, featuring solo performances and formations across 5 Dance Divisions.
Evening exhibitions and contests at the SOHO Square stage, performed in front of a massive audience.
Open classes and presentations featuring different dance styles, welcoming everyone.
An epic Bedouin Desert Dinner featuring Arabic folk and cultural performances, followed by a Desert DJ Party.
Pool parties for participants to relax, connect, and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
Sunset Seaview DJ Sets overlooking the beautiful Red Sea.
Morning practices, yoga, warm-ups, and more to keep dancers energized and prepared throughout the festival.
The weather, the corals and the overall experience!
At the beginning of December Sharm El-Sheikh provides a perfect set of conditions to enjoy a week full of dance before Christmas time. While the weather at other continents gets freezing, Sharm still offers a wonderful sunshine and around 26-29°C temperature.
And the corals, THE CORALS!
In this period the sea is still confortable to experience and the corals are absolutely impressive. You can swim and dive right at the hotel beach with millions of colourful fishes. Unforgettable!
Besides the climate conditions, Sharm has a perfect sporting area with a huge sport hall, other halls, olympic swimming pools, congress hall, SOHO square, Old Town Market square, etc.
There are no limits to age or level of dancing. The festival is open to everyone who wants to learn new dance styles or improve their skills. The workshops are designed for dancers of all levels. Supervisors and parents of underage participants are welcome too.
We welcome individual dancers, dance groups, dance schools, art schools, dance studios, and anyone interested in dancing, Zumba, or aerobics!
The deadline for registration is December 26, 2026.
The festival starts on the evening of January 28th with an opening ceremony and finishes on the evening of February 1st with a closing ceremony and party.
The packages of the festival include 7 nights at the 5* Dreams Beach Hotel.
You can arrive in Sharm El-Sheikh on January 25th, 26th, 27th and leave on February 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
With Package 1, you get round-trip flight tickets from Budapest/Vienna to Sharm El Sheikh (January 25th – February 1st).
If you choose Package 2 and have a different arrival or departure date due to the flight schedule, let us know.
Opening ceremony
Is being held on December 3rd evening. A collective walk around the Old Town Market Square, which provides a unique atmosphere and scenery. All dancers will be grouped by countries and will hold a flag of their country. All country will be officially welcomed. It will be a great celebration of the community of dancers!
Beduine Desert Dinner
An epic location in the desert surrounded by candles will be prepared for a Beduin dinner accompanied by various Arabic folk and culture presentations. This area will provide an unforgettable experience and will end up in a DJ desert party.
Trip to Dahab
Discover the charm of Dahab in a special one-day trip, where the Red Sea meets the serenity of the mountains. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach, strolling through local markets, and tasting authentic Bedouin cuisine. A short journey that leaves lasting memories.
Closing ceremony
Celebration of the end of the festival, announcing the winners of a dance competition and awarding the official certifications for the festival. An opportunity to meet and talk to the instructors, dance group leaders and other participants of the festival followed by dance party till morning.

FootGolf is a modern international sport that combines the skills of football with the precision of golf. Players use a standard football on a traditional golf course, aiming to kick the ball into an oversized hole in the fewest possible shots. Although it is a new sport, it is spreading rapidly around the world. The International FootGolf Federation (FIFG) has more than 40 member countries, including Argentina, Italy, Mexico, Japan, the United States, and others.
The GAIA Festival marks the first time FootGolf is being presented in Egypt. The presentation is hosted by FootGolf Senec from Slovakia, one of the fastest-growing countries in Europe for this sport, with players actively competing in the FootGolf World Cup.

Packages are also available for those accompanying the dancers who do not attend any workshops or masterclasses.

You can purchase a flight from any destination and flight company. The price of these flights are matter of the chosen flight company.
Sharm El-Sheikh is a safe touristic destination. All locations and venues of the festival will be controlled by professional security services and in public areas will be also under permanent police department supervision.
The festival is approved by The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
All participants must have a travel health insurance valid for Egypt.
All participants travel and attend the festival on their own responsibility.
Underage participants (below 18 years old) travel and attend the festival on the responsibility of their team leader or parents.
Packages are also offered for those, who accompany the dancers only and do not attend any workshops or masterclasses.
The festival is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by participants during their stay.
You are required to have a valid passport. The passport must be valid 6 months after your planned returning from the festival. You get Visa at the airport upon arrival.
Egypt loves festivals and its media appearances and the festival will have media and marketing team. It means that by applying for the festival you agree with using any media recordings of you for media and marketing appearances for the next years. The media includes, pictures, videos, sounds, in TV, radio, web, social media, etc.
